On occasion
you may have a need to send us files. Here are some general guidelines
and instructions to follow. TECHNICAL QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED
THROUGH E-MAIL UNLESS IT CONTAINS A FILE ATTACHMENT THAT IS NECESSARY
TO RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE. For all other questions that do not require
a file attachment, we will gladly answer your question on our Message
Board.
- Go into
your E-mail.
- Type the
e-mail address: help@gsclion.com
- If you spoke
with a particular technician, put ATTN: Technician's Name in
the SUBJECT box.
- Type in
the body of the message. Include your full name and customer number
and what the e-mail is regarding.
- Click on
the ATTACH button. Some e-mail systems will designate this
with a paper-clip icon. Other e-mail systems you will need
to click on Insert - File.
- You will
now need to locate the file that you are attaching. Click on the
BROWSE button.
- If the
file is located on a floppy disk, simply choose the
A: drive.
- If the
file is located on your desktop as an icon, choose
C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP, or simply choose DESKTOP.
- If the
file is in StenoCAT 32, you will need to go through
the following folders by double-clicking each one of these
items:
- C:\Program
Files\StenoCAT 32\Users\Your Name\Jobs (Jobs)
- C:\Program
Files\StenoCAT 32\Users\Your Name\Dicts (Dictionaries)
- C:\Program
Files\StenoCAT 32\Users\Your Name\Template (Templates)
- C:\Program
Files\StenoCAT 32\Users\Your Name\Settings (Smartkey sets
and other settings)
- Send
the file.
