:::Emergency
Codes:

|
Life happens.
Don't let a broken or misplaced hardware key hold you back
from getting your work done. In a pinch, you can use emergency
codes to unlock your software for as long as your computer
is on.
|
| How
to use Emergency Codes: |
| Emergency
Codes are offered on a limited basis for emergency situations
created by the hardware key not being accessible (either through
malfunction, breakage, or temporary misplacement). These codes
are now automated, so customers can get through any emergency
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Automated codes are available
to customers through the internet (not through customer care
as before). Should you ever require this option, it is a good
idea to ensure that your StenoCAT32 customer Login ID and Password
are stored for quick reference. Logging into your account is
the first step in obtaining emergency access to your software.
|
- Go
to Start > (All) Programs > StenoCAT 32 > StenoCAT 32 Emergency
Codes.
- The
Login and password are the same ones you use when logging
onto our website. If you do not have a Login ID, you must
first go to our website and create one (http://www.gsclion.com).
- The
Emergency Codes Wizard will automatically detect your Internet
connection, verify your account with us and open up the
StenoCAT 32 Editor for you.
- Use
the File Menu to operate the Editor while using emergency
codes. (e.g. Open, Close, Print, Save, Export for ASCIIs).
These will work until you Exit the Editor. When you EXIT
the Editor using the File Menu, you are also terminating
your Emergency Code session. Since these sessions are available
only on a limited basis, be careful not to exit the Editor
until you are ready to stop working.
