StenoCAT 32 version 7.2 is compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7 operating systems. This means that the StenoCAT32 Version 7.2 application has passed Microsoft-designed tests to ensure a compatible and reliable experience with any edition of Windows 7 including 64 bit.

Users should NOT install StenoCAT version 6.0 or earlier on Windows 7 computers, as these earlier versions will not run properly on Windows 7. Attempting to install an earlier version will not cause any harm, but StenoCAT will not work until you install the 7.2 update.

It is important to understand that the Windows 7 and Vista platforms are not automatically backwards-compatible with all hardware and software originally designed to work with Windows XP. Please ensure that all your hardware and peripherals are designed for use with Windows 7 or Vista.
