EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES
Employment
agencies charge a fee to employers for supplying temporary or permanent
employees. The school can either partner with a local employment
agency, working in a similar way to partnership which is outlined
above, or become an employment agency themselves and become the
source of rapid data entry reporters.
The
success of any employment agency is in its ability to match the
needs of the employers with the capabilities of the employee. Not
every student can do every type of work, so it is imperative that
the various skills of the student are recorded and updated regularly.
Then it is possible to match the requirements of the job with the
skills available. Skills are not just speed and accuracy, but they
also include, for example, stress tolerance (realtime captioning
in front of 200 people), communication skills, and summarizing skills.
